Robert Szechenyi

Bob is a senior investment director having joined Rathbones in October 2000. He became a Director for the Group in 2007 and is also a CEO advisory board member for the Rathbones Group.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and runs a team that manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, charities, personal pension schemes, offshore bonds and family trusts.

In 2019, he was shortlisted in the ‘Future Leader in Private Client’ category at Spear’s Wealth Management Awards. He went on to be categorised as “Top Recommended” by Spears in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

In 2015, Bob helped launch Rathbones’ international team which manages Sterling, Euro and Dollar portfolios for clients of international advisers; the team was named Best International Discretionary Fund Manager at the annual International Investment Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
