Celebrating over 30 years of partnering with the National Garden Scheme.

Creating strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and transparency is at the core of our business

Which is why, in 2024, we were incredibly proud to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of our partnership with The National Garden Scheme.

It began in 1994, with a branch of our business then known as Carr Sheppards, which later became part of Investec. As of 2023, Investec Wealth & Investment became part of the Rathbones Group, together forming the UK’s leading wealth manager. Though our name may occasionally change, our commitment to our clients and our partners does not, and we hold the same steadfast values at our core.

For one, we believe in investing more than money. By giving back to our local communities, we’re planting seeds that will grow into a stronger society. We’re passionate about supporting organisations that align with our vision and purpose, like the National Garden Scheme, which has given so much to its beneficiary charities over the years and continues to do so.

Whether you’re nurturing your retirement fund or planting seeds for future generations, our role is to help you invest well to live well.

About the National Garden Scheme

For nearly 100 years, the National Garden Scheme has been opening the gates to thousands of exceptional private gardens each year in the UK – all to raise vital funds for some of the nation’s best loved nursing and health charities through admissions, tea and cakes.

Thanks to the generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors, the Scheme supports organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Parkinson’s UK, Carers Trust and The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing.

In addition to championing great gardens for great causes, the National Garden Scheme funds community gardening projects, supports gardens that provide therapeutic benefits, and offers bursaries to help train the next generation of gardeners.
