Simon Foster

Simon is regional director in the Exeter office. He specialises in managing investment portfolios on behalf of private clients, charities, trusts and pension funds. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
During his career, Simon has established strong working relationships with a number of solicitors, accountants and independent financial advisers. He joined in June 2010 to assist with the expansion of Rathbones into the West Country.

Ben joined Rathbones Financial Planning in 2017 and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He passionately believes in the value of tailored holistic financial planning and working with clients to help them achieve their lifetime objectives. Ben advises clients across a broad range of areas including wealth preservation, investment structuring, retirement planning as well as succession and inheritance tax planning. He takes a proactive approach to ensure clients are reassured that they are making the right decisions with their wealth.

Edward James-Moore

Edward is a Senior Investment Director and a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities and Investments. He specialises in managing portfolios for wealthy families and individuals, trusts, pension funds, companies and charities. Edward started his career at WH Ireland Stockbrokers before joining HSBC Global Asset Management where he spent nine years before moving to Rathbones in 2013. At Rathbones Edward heads a team and manages over £400m of client assets.

Funds under management and administration reach record £49.2 billion

Rathbones brings financial education to North West schools

Rathbones has extended its financial education programme to schools in the North West.
Rathbones’ Kendal Regional Director Richard Dawson and Assistant Investment Manager Stephen Quick have recently presented at St Bees School, Giggleswick School, Kirkham Grammar School, Lancaster Royal Grammar School, Sedbergh School and Manchester Grammar School.
The office will be hosting a financial awareness event for 16-22 year olds in the region during the 2015 Easter holidays at Levens Hall in Kendal.
