James Campbell-Gray

He joined Rathbones in 1993 having moved from Sheppards and Chase (IW&I) which subsequently became part of Rathbones during September 2023.James heads his team and has worked alongside James Mayes since 1993.James specialises in private client portfolio management, associated trusts, self-invested pensions schemes as well as charities. In addition, he holds an SEC license.

Harvey Startup

Harvey joined Rathbones in 2024 as a trainee on the portfolio management desk where he assists with discretionary management of client portfolios, supports and liaises with the Investment Managers on investment decisions, and undertakes day-to-day portfolio management responsibilities. He studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Nottingham and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Michal Hall

Michal Hall joined Rathbones in 2025 as a Paraplanner based in the Guildford office. She works closely with Financial Planners and the Wealth Administration team to produce tailored financial reports for clients. Michal began her career in South Africa, where she spent a decade developing her expertise in Paraplanning before relocating to the UK two years ago to continue in the profession.
