Craig Baxter

Craig is an investment director and manages portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Craig graduated from the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University in 1996 with an honours degree in Commerce and joined Speirs & Jeffrey later that year. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Stuart Martin

Stuart is an investment director and looks after a growing number of private clients, pensions, charities and trusts. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Stuart graduated from St. Andrews University with an honours degree in Economics/Finance. After obtaining his qualifications at Tilney, Stuart took a year out travelling around the world before returning to work at Charles Stanley in Edinburgh. He returned to Glasgow and joined Speirs and Jeffrey in 2003. Speirs and Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Sachin Amin

Sachin joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2015 having previously worked as an investment manager in the City of London. He graduated from Imperial College London with a masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Management qualification. Sachin is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Sachin works closely with Tom Brown, managing portfolios for a wide range of private clients, charities and trusts. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Tom Carroll

Tom is the CEO of Rathbones Asset Management, having joined us in March 2022 as chief investment officer. Tom has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and joined from Sanlam UK where he was head of asset management. Tom spent much of his career as a fund manager with M&G and Schroders before co-founding the investment boutique FOUR Capital Partners, which was then bought by Sanlam. Tom is also Chartered Accountant, having worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Iain Currie

Iain is an investment director with experience managing a variety of bespoke portfolios including SIPPs, offshore bonds and discretionary trusts for private clients, financial advisers and solicitors. Iain is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the CISI’s Masters in Wealth Management (Level 7), Investment Management Certificate and a Diploma in Financial Services.

Libby Cryer

Libby joined Rathbones in December 2021 as a Trainee Investment Manager and was promoted to an Assistant Investment Manager in 2023. Libby works alongside Amos, assisting in managing portfolios. She has a first-class degree in Psychology from the University of Bristol and worked at Hargreaves Lansdown before joining Rathbones. Libby has completed the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and is currently working towards the Chartered Wealth Management qualification.

James Walker

James is an investment manager with experience managing a variety of bespoke portfolios for private clients, including SIPPs, charities, offshore bonds and discretionary trusts. James completed the CFA Program in June 2010, having previously obtained the SII Diploma. He is a member of both the CFA Institute and CISI. He also holds a masters in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.

James Neale

I am an Investment Manager with 10 years experience in the industry, first supporting the management of and now managing the investments of clients. I work with private clients, trusts, companies and charities on tailored and bespoke mandates to suit the the individual requirements of each client. I have significant experience in portfolio construction and asset allocation where I have served on various Investment committees in previous roles, specifically specialising in alternative assets such as Infrastructure and also passive fund selection and portfolio construction.

I am responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions. I work as a Senior Investment Director and provide investment advice around portfolio construction/asset allocation as well as ensuring assets are structured tax efficiently.

Gordon Lawrie

My role as an investment manager is to help clients reach their objectives via their investment portfolios, be it helping them to grow their assets, generate an income or anything in between. These portfolios include ISA's, general investment accounts, pensions and other tax friendly vehicles, such as trusts and charities. I take great pleasure in taking clients through the investment journey and ultimately achieving their goals.

Andrew Dawson Paul

Andrew is an investment director with over 25 years’ experience of managing discretionary investment portfolios for private individuals, their pensions and family trust structures. He also manages investments for charities including a City Livery Company. After graduating from Durham University, Andrew joined the City stockbroking firm of Laurence Keen and qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Laurence Keen was acquired by Rathbones in 1998.
