He is a Charted Financial Planner who has been authorised to provide advice since 2004, specialising in private client advice. Outside of work he is married with two daughters and son who keep him busy, though he is also a keen sportsman and enjoys travelling.

Jenny Foster

Jenny joined Rathbones in 2021 as part of the distribution team. In April 2024, she started as an engagement analyst working with all the fund management franchises to deliver Rathbone Asset Management's engagement strategy and lead direct engagements with companies. Jenny previously held internships at Polar Capital, Artemis Investment Management and Odey Asset Management. Jenny holds a BSC (Hons) Economics degree from the University of Birmingham.

Ben Haymer

Ben joined Rathbones Investment Management International in Jersey in May 2019. He is a client manager with responsibility for the growth of the overseas institutional and private client base with an emphasis on the Middle East. Ben, who graduated from Swansea University with a BSc in Mathematics, began his finance career in 2011 at NatWest Offshore in Jersey, where he was an international wealth manager.

Gary Smith

Gary is an investment director, he is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment having qualified in 2002. Gary joined the investment management team in May 2000, working as an assistant to help manage private client portfolios. He became an associate director in 2005 and an investment director in 2010.

Sarah James

Sarah joined Rathbones Trust Company in 2011 after qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor. Sarah specialises in Personal Tax, advising on both compliance matters and tax planning. Sarah is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians. Sarah became a member of both organisations after completing her Bachelor Degree at Keele University in History and Sociology.

Hollie Curtis

Hollie Curtis is an investment manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investments. She joined Rathbones in 2017 having spent nine years at Brewin Dolphin managing private client portfolios from their Lymington and London offices. Hollie is passionate about increasing financial understanding and provides financial awareness sessions for local schools and organisations.

Thomas Croft

Thomas is a risk analyst at Rathbones. He joined the company in December 2014, initially working as a portfolio modelling assistant within a large private client team. Thomas later went on to work as an investment manager’s assistant supporting an investment director with the management of client’s investment portfolios. Thomas then joined the research team in 2016. Thomas graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014, with a first-class honours degree in Mathematics; and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Andy Webb

Andy joined Rathbones from Brewin Dolphin where he was a divisional director in the Newcastle Office. Andy is a Fellow of CISI with 27 years experience in the financial service sector having previously worked for Barclays Bank before joining Brewin Dolphin in 1996. Over the last 20 years, Andy has amassed a wide range of experience in dealing with the fast pace and changing face of investment markets, his knowledge has enabled him to provide an invaluable steer and insight for all of his clients through several market cycles.

Reece Duncan

Reece is an Investment Manager working closely with Cameron Pollock managing portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2018 and initially worked in the suitability department. He has achieved the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice as well as the CISI level 7 Diploma in Wealth Management and is now a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
