Joel began his career at Rathbones via a two‑year apprenticeship scheme, covering both Investment Management and Financial Planning roles.
Upon graduating, Joel spent just under four years working within the financial planning team, completing his Advanced Diploma by the age of 23.
He then joined Artorius Wealth before moving to Investec in June 2022, becoming a Financial Planner in November 2024.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through sports including padel, tennis and golf. He is also an avid Evertonian (depending on their run of form).

Michael graduated from Aberdeen University with an honours degree in Political Studies, and Stirling University with an MSc in Investment Analysis. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 1999 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

In addition, he holds the Investment Advice Certificate (IAC) and Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
