Ramsay Wilson

Ramsay joined Rathbones in 2023. He spearheads the client development activities across Scotland, delivering discretionary portfolio management services to private clients, charities and trusts. He is also responsible for developing and managing intermediary relationships.Ramsay started his career in 2007 as a Trainee Investment Manager with Brewin Dolphin in London before moving to Switzerland to work for a Zurich based Hedge Fund.

Richard Roberts

I construct and manage tailored investment portfolios that are suitable for their present and future needs, taking into account their current position, requirements, risk levels and objectives. I manage assets on behalf of private individuals, charities, trusts and personal pension schemes using Rathbones’ excellent in-house research team to monitor and tailor these portfolios.

Matt Wood

Following completion of his BSc in Economics at the LSE and a successful Summer internship at Saunderson House (SHL), Matt joined permanently in 2014 as part of the graduate trainee programme and is now a part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. Matt has completed the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, and was subsequently awarded Chartered status in 2018.

Emma Russell

I have completed CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification and also hold the CISI Investment Advice Diploma. I graduated from University of Southampton with a psychology degree and have worked in client facing roles across previous jobs and since joining Investec. I enjoy building my knowledge on the technical aspects of the role with study and research but communicating with clients on a daily basis and helping them to achieve their objectives has been the most valuable for my development.

Cameron Kinnaird

My primary role is to advise individuals and families on investment and tax matters. I also act for charities and sit on a number of charitable committees which gives me some insight into the issues charities face. Where appropriate, I work closely with my financial planning colleagues to ensure the best possible outcome for my clients.

Alex joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2015 as part of the graduate trainee programme and is now a Chartered Financial Planner and part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. He enjoys working with clients to help them determine and prioritise their financial goals and put in place a robust plan to achieve them. This covers those accumulating wealth in the earlier stages of their journey, through to retired individuals who require assistance with ensuring that they can sustain their standard of living for their lifetimes.

Neil Wong

Neil is an investment director and has more than 20 years of investment experience. Neil started his career at Rathbones in 1998, before joining Tilney in 2000 and then Cazenove in 2002, where he spent nearly 17 years. Neil is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Neil manages discretionary investment portfolios for private clients, pensions, trusts, and charities, working with clients and their advisers.

Henry Robertson

Henry is a business development director at Rathbones. He operates from the Liverpool office and covers the North West of England and North Wales. His responsibilities include creating opportunities for investment managers to acquire new business from trustees, both charitable and private, lawyers, accountants and private individuals. He joined Rathbones in 1994. Prior to this, he worked at what was then Wise Speke stockbrokers in Manchester.
