Alex Race

Alex joined the firm having graduated from King’s College London with a degree in History. Alex is a Chartered Financial Planner and previously led the New Business team. He has experience dealing with clients in a wide range of circumstances. Alex believes in the value of a long-term relationship to truly understand client’s needs and objectives, and to construct a bespoke financial planning strategy accordingly. Outside of work, Alex enjoys his London-living and is a keen squash and hockey player.

Sally Gallagher

Sally joined Rathbones in July 2023 after 18 years working at Investec Wealth & Investment, gaining extensive experience in both Investment Management and Financial Planning during that time.Sally performs the role of Assistant Investment Manager for of a variety of client portfolios; working predominantly with IFAs.

Audrey MacCaw

Audrey joined Rathbones in early 2017 having previously worked in the industry as a client service executive at Bordier and Cie (UK) Limited. She was later promoted to a senior client service executive whilst working at Bordier. Audrey graduated, with a 2:1 (Hons) degree, from Bristol University in 2011 and worked as an intern at an investment management firm in the City for one year. Audrey works as a client service executive for two investment directors, Charles Wilcox and Andrew Dawson Paul.

Olly Cheng

I joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2008 as part of the graduate trainee programme, following the completion of an MPhil in Social and Economic History from the University of Oxford. I am now a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, and have been part of Rathbones Financial Planning since the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. I have been authorised to provide advice directly to clients since 2012, and for much of my career took on a technical role alongside managing client relationships.

James Douglas-Withers

James is an investment director, graduating from the University of Warwick in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Maths and Philosophy. He worked for Friends Provident before joining Rathbones in 2003, working for the Unit Trust division.James subsequently joined the private client business of Rathbones in 2007 and now manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, charities, personal pension schemes, offshore bonds and family trusts. He also spent over ten years sitting on the Rathbone UK Stock Selection Committee.

Sarah was appointed as a non-executive director in 2015 and chair of the Remuneration Committee in June 2017. She was appointed as a designated non-executive director for our workforce engagement in 2019 along with Colin Clark.

Findlay Ingram

Findlay joined Rathbones as an investment manager in 2018 and manages discretionary portfolios for private individuals, pension funds, family trusts and charities. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and a member of the Overseas Equity Committee, contributing to the investment process at Rathbones. Findlay graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Economics & Finance before starting his career at Charles Stanley.

David Nicholsby

David is an Investment Director at Greenbank Investments. He joined the team in January 2020 and now manages investment portfolios on behalf of private clients who have a particular focus in ethical and sustainable investment. Prior to joining Rathbones he had 10 years experience working in financial planning as well as an investment analyst, specialising in global equities and investment trusts. David is passionate about investment markets and has experiences across the financial services sector.
