I work closely with investment managers to pitch for business with existing and potential clients, and with colleagues in the Investment & Research Office to manage the firm's discretionary fixed income mandates. I also provide commentary on fixed income markets and help with the selection of bond funds and individual credits, providing bespoke solutions and portfolio proposals to a wide range of clients.

Having joined Saunderson House 20 years ago and moved to Rathbones in 2022, he is also an authorised Pension Transfer Specialist. Ed specialises in the provision of strategic financial planning, working with clients to build and execute their plans to achieve financial independence, with a focus on the bigger picture as well as the smaller details.

I support and work closely with a team of experienced investment managers, who manage assets on behalf of private clients (both directly and through IFAs), offshore bonds, trusts and pension funds. My role is to deal with all administrative matters for clients, from account opening, to the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of client accounts, including timely execution of their requests.

Rowland Flower

Rowland began his investment career in 1997 at Fleming Private Asset Management (subsequently acquired by JP Morgan Chase) where he built up a solid grounding in equity research before becoming a private client portfolio manager. In 2001, he joined HSBC Investment Management, where he was made a director and ultimately responsible for a team managing over £200m of assets.

Sarah works in our Cambridge office, helping Simon Whitmore to look after the needs of his clients. She joined Rathbones in June 2013 after taking time off to raise her family. Sarah commenced her career in financial services with SSgA before moving to the corporate broking team at Deutsche Bank, then the corporate finance team at Collins Stewart.
