Scott started his career in financial services shortly after graduating from the University of Edinburgh. He worked with a small specialist financial advice firm based in Totnes in Devon. After returning to Edinburgh, Scott has worked in boutique wealth management firms and has been advising private clients across the UK.

Alistair graduated from the University of Stirling in 2011 with an honours degree in Business Law. After an internship at a small fund management business in Glasgow, he joined HSBC’s Global Fund Pricing team in 2012. During his five years at HSBC, Alistair undertook his CISI Investment qualifications.

James joined Rathbones in November 2021 as an investment manager. He joined the industry in 2014 and previously worked at Smith & Williamson. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager as well as CFA chartership holder. James is experienced in dealing with private clients, trusts and charites.James has previous experience working as a research analyst, specialising on Transport and Media companies as well as UK collectives. Prior to his career he studied Economics at the University of Nottingham, achieving a first class degree.
