Gary is an investment director, he is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment having qualified in 2002. Gary joined the investment management team in May 2000, working as an assistant to help manage private client portfolios. He became an associate director in 2005 and an investment director in 2010.

Charlie Sage

Charlie joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2007, which became part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. Charlie advises on all aspects of financial planning, including long term strategy, investment portfolio construction, taxation and technical matters. He has experience in advising clients through the various stages of their life cycle and specialises in long-term cash flow forecasting.
Elliot Evans

Elliot joined Rathbones in 2014, subsequent to reading Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham.
Elliot is an Investment Director specialising in managing investments for private clients, charities and companies. This includes managing portfolios across a range of structures: General Investment Accounts (GIAs), ISAs, Pensions, Trusts, Charities and company accounts - always tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.
He has a particular interest for disruptive technology stocks and sits on the Rathbones Technology Equity Committee.

Dean Young

Dean is a senior investment director, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder. He manages investment portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities.
Dean attended Edinburgh University where he was a member of the Scottish Universities Swimming Team. He joined Speirs and Jeffrey from university in 2006 after graduating with an honours degree in Economics. Speirs and Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Matt Wood

Following completion of his BSc in Economics at the LSE and a successful Summer internship at Saunderson House (SHL), Matt joined permanently in 2014 as part of the graduate trainee programme and is now a part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. Matt has completed the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, and was subsequently awarded Chartered status in 2018, and Fellowship in 2024.

Sachin Amin

Sachin joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2015 having previously worked as an investment manager in the City of London. He graduated from Imperial College London with a masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Management qualification. Sachin is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Sachin works closely with Tom Brown, managing portfolios for a wide range of private clients, charities and trusts. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
