He advises clients on a broad range of areas including tax efficient investment structuring, pension and retirement planning, and succession and estate planning.
Nick Forbes

Nick supports Tim Johnson and Ollie Hext in managing discretionary portfolios for a diverse range of clients including private individuals, charities, personal pension schemes and bespoke unit trusts for large family groups, often within complex trust structures. He joined Rathbones on the graduate scheme in 2022 and has worked for a number of departments within Rathbones before joining Tim’s team.
Ellie Collier

Ellie joined Rathbones in 2020 as a client service executive having previously worked in middle office at Rathbones and formerly Aegon.
She is currently studying towards the CISI Investment Advice Diploma.
Greg Brock

Greg works as an assistant for Bob Szechenyi and Stuart Furzer fulfilling an administrative role on behalf of UK and offshore domiciled individuals, companies and trusts.
Greg joined Rathbones in 2001, within the London Middle Office, from Bank of New York where he was a senior administrator. He has worked in the industry since 1995, having previously worked for the Public Trust Office prior to joining BONY.
He is a Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Laura Dempsey

Laura is a financial planner based in the London office. She joined Rathbones in 2017, with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. She has previously worked for a number of large financial institutions including Canada Life and Succession Group.
Aidan Edgerton

Aidan is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He joined Rathbones in 2021 as part of the acquisition of Saunderson House. Prior to joining Saunderson House in 2017, Aidan worked for a London-based mortgage and protection broker, which sparked his passion for helping people with their personal finances.

My team serves around 120 clients and their families, including a significant number of current and retired partners at the top legal and accountancy firms and entrepreneurs.
Charles Wilcox

Charles has over 25 years' experience managing investments for charities, private clients and associated family trust structures. His principal role is as a senior fund manager with responsibility for over £250m of client money. He also sits on the Stock Selection Committee with particular expertise in UK companies. Charles is also the Rathbone representative on the FTSE/APCIMS Indices Committee. He was educated at Downside School and Exeter University where he attained a 2:1 degree in Economics and Geography.

James Hessey

James joined Rathbones in 2016 where he started his career as a graduate trainee. Prior to this, he worked as a paralegal having completed the Legal Practitioners course. James graduated with a second class honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York and has a master's degree in Political Philosophy.
James assists with managing private client portfolios, trusts, charities and self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs).
He is a CFA Charterholder and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).
Andrew Waddell

Andrew is an investment director and has a broad and growing client base. Honours graduate in Political Studies from Aberdeen University, Andrew is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Chiene & Tait in Edinburgh. After qualifying as a CA, he joined Edinburgh Fund Managers (now part of Standard Life Aberdeen), working as a fund manager within the group's UK small companies team and then its enlarged UK department.
