Rathbones has partnered with Jazz FM to bring you close to the music and artist with exclusive performances by the best new acts in jazz.
Whilst taking in the view of the London skyline and soaking up the summer sun from our open-air terrace, our guests enjoyed the sounds of innovative jazz band The James Beckwith Trio. During the evening, the contemporary piano group played an exclusive selection of songs from their upcoming debut album, and shared their favourite moments in jazz.

Rathbone Unit Trust Management makes new Executive Chair and Chief Executive appointments as Mike Webb announces retirement

Rathbones Group Plc announces the appointments within Rathbones Unit Trust Management Limited (RUTM) of Jayne Rogers as Executive Chair and Tom Carroll as Chief Executive. Jayne will also take on the role of Chief Distribution Officer, Rathbones Group Plc. This is subject to FCA approval. Both Jayne and Tom will be based in the London office.

It covers the year ended 31 December 2017.
Mark Nicholls, Chairman of Rathbones Group Plc, said:
“UK and global investment markets performed well in 2017, with some indices reaching record levels towards the end of the year. This outcome has been positive for both Rathbones and our clients, with our funds under management reaching a record £39.1 billion, up 14.3% in the year.

Andrew Robins

Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). He started his career with Barclays Bank fulfilling a broad variety of roles, including Treasury Manager and Corporate Manager before joining RBC in 2000 where he was responsible for the management and growth of a portfolio of global HNW and UHNW private clients. Andrew then moved into RBC’s Investment Services division, providing bespoke investment advice to RBC Trustees.

Laura has over 8 years’ experience in the investment management/finance industry and joined Rathbones in 2022 from Stonehage Fleming. Laura manages multi-asset discretionary portfolios for private clients, offshore trusts and charities. Laura is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (‘CISI’), and holds the designation Chartered Wealth Manager, following completion of the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification (CWM) in 2018, as well as passing the CISI Investment Advice Diploma in 2016.

Catherine manages the offshore operational infrastructure supporting the growing international private client business. She has over 18 years experience in the finance industry, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 2000.

Max Rogers

Max joined Rathbones in September 2020. Max has a degree in International Financial Services from the University of Buckingham, which he studied for at the Jersey International Business School. Max began his career in 2019 working at STANLIB Fund Managers in Jersey, where he worked on the multi-manager team assisting with fund research and fund analysis across all asset classes. Max holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and is studying towards the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.
