Personal injury and Court of Protection

Investing with care. For long-term security.

Rathbones’ dedicated personal injury (PI) and Court of Protection (COP) team believes it is essential to work closely with clients, deputies, trustees and families to help meet their current and future needs.

Our approach to investment and advice in this area is built on a solid foundation of experience and expertise.

We take time to meet with clients, their families and professional advisers to understand their circumstances, needs and objectives. It’s our belief that only by listening to and truly understanding our clients can we create strategies to help meet their long term plans and requirements.

Our team has over 100 years’ combined experience and over this time we’ve built strong relationships with professionals in this area. If matters need resolving outside the scope of investments, we can bring the expertise of this network to offer additional support. We are trusted to manage over £1 billion of personal injury settlements, making us one of the leading specialist investment managers in the UK.

Senior Manager - Governance

London

My role is to lead on the Governance arrangements for the IRO and ensure that the structures and processes we have in place lead to achievable, client focussed actions and outcomes. Working with the Committee Coordinators, I act as a point of contact to support the running of effective meetings. I am the point of contact for the Investment Committee and I work closely with the group of IM's who take questions and feedback to the Committee members. I regularly collaborate with the wider IW&I governance function and oversee the management of IRO policies to ensure they are kept up to date and reviewed as needed.
