Personal injury and Court of Protection

Investing with care. For long-term security.

Rathbones’ dedicated personal injury (PI) and Court of Protection (COP) team believes it is essential to work closely with clients, deputies, trustees and families to help meet their current and future needs.

Our approach to investment and advice in this area is built on a solid foundation of experience and expertise.

We take time to meet with clients, their families and professional advisers to understand their circumstances, needs and objectives. It’s our belief that only by listening to and truly understanding our clients can we create strategies to help meet their long term plans and requirements.

Our team has over 100 years’ combined experience and over this time we’ve built strong relationships with professionals in this area. If matters need resolving outside the scope of investments, we can bring the expertise of this network to offer additional support. We are trusted to manage over £1 billion of personal injury settlements, making us one of the leading specialist investment managers in the UK.

Business Development Director

As Business Development Director for the Bournemouth office, I work with professional advisers to achieve the most suitable investment solutions for their clients. In order to do this it is important to get to know both the adviser, their business and how they build relationships with their clients - a personal and high level of service is very important to me, therefore, relationship management is also a key part of my role. My aim is to add value and assist advisers in supporting their clients when making some of the most important financial decisions, for both theirs and their families' future.
