Carol Xi

Carol is a Senior Tax Manager who joined Rathbones in 2019. She has over 15 years’ experience in UK taxation and specialises in advising high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and families on a wide range of personal and business tax matters. In her role, she delivers tailored tax planning, advisory and compliance services, helping clients navigate complex tax issues with confidence.

Before joining Rathbones, Carol worked across both small accountancy practices and multinational firms, building extensive expertise in personal tax, owner-managed businesses and corporation tax. She is known for her strong technical knowledge, practical approach and commitment to providing excellent client service.

Carol is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, CGMA). She holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester.

Carol grew up in Shanghai and is fluent in Mandarin.
