Pela Strataki, D.Phil., CFA

Pela is Head of Investment Capability at Rathbones. In this capacity, Pela is responsible for delivering institutional-level investment solutions for Rathbones’ wealth clients, including Private Assets. She supports the Chief Investment Officer in maintaining good governance in our central investment decision-making. She is Joint Vice Chair of the Investment Committee, which oversees the bodies making decisions about Asset Allocation, Investment Selection and Portfolio Management recommendations across the firm. She also leads the Investment Companies Task Force, an engagement group of the Investment Committee, which seeks to optimise client outcomes in this segment of the market.

Pela has nearly 20 years’ experience in research, portfolio management and leadership roles in UK wealth, family office and multi-manager settings, including Tilney (now Evelyn Partners), Architas (now AXA IM Select) and IW&I/ Rathbones. She holds a doctorate in Greek Papyrology from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder. Pela sits on the Investment Sub-Committee of the Endowment Fund of King’s College London, as an Independent Co-Opted Member, in a voluntary capacity.
