Answer the questions below to reveal the bank account details and payment reference to use when making your transfer.
2. Stop and check before making the transfer
Once you have used the tool in step 1 to reveal the right Rathbones bank account to transfer to, please undertake the following checks when making the transfer:
- Use your own banking app: Always log in to your bank in the usual way. We will never send you links, QR codes or payment buttons to make a payment.
- Check the account name: When you enter our bank details, your bank will show you the account name. It must be Rathbones Investment Management Limited. If anything else appears, please do not proceed.
- Compare it with another Rathbones document: Our bank details also appear on our official letters and statements. If what you see doesn’t match, please stop and contact us.
- Be cautious of unexpected requests: We will never ask you to move money urgently or tell you that our bank details have changed.
- If you are unsure, pause: If something doesn’t feel right, don’t make the payment. Contact your usual Rathbones team and we will confirm everything for you.
