  3. Rathbones Charity Expert Webinar Series: The Future of Giving and Philanthropy

Article last updated 6 July 2026.

Tuesday 13 October 2026

12.00 - 13.00 GMT+1

The session will explore how philanthropy and charitable giving are evolving in response to changing donor expectations, inter-generational wealth transfer, technology and increasing demands for transparency and engagement.

Rather than approaching the topic solely from a fundraising perspective, we are looking to create a broader discussion bringing together both donor and charity viewpoints. Our aim is to explore what today’s philanthropists are looking for, how charities can build deeper and more sustainable relationships with supporters, and how the wider giving landscape may evolve over the coming years.
