Natalie Rizzi

Natalie is an investment director and has been managing funds for private clients and trustees since 1993. She joined Rathbones in July 2000 from Close Brothers where she was director of Private Asset Management (formerly Rea Brothers). She spent most of her career at Rea Brothers starting off in foreign exchange and moving to the investment management department in 1989. Natalie passed her General Registered Representative exam in 1989 and has been a Diploma Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment since 1993.

I have significant expertise and experience in working with business owners or other equity holders, on the personal wealth implications of selling a business. Focusing on each client's unique situation I assist with portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment management, as well as considering relevant holding structures and tax efficient solutions working towards pre-agreed long term goals.

As Office Support Lead, I lead the Investment Administration and Secretarial team. My role is to support the Investment Managers to enable them to provide a smooth client journey. I am also involved in the roll out of new processes to ensure we deliver our work efficiently.

Alex Clay

Alex joined Rathbones as an investment director in 2002 and manages a large portfolio of high net worth private clients, their SIPPs and associated trusts. He started his investment career in London over 30 years ago at Henderson Administration where he trained. He subsequently helped establish the private client fund management department within Murray Johnstone before moving to Premier Asset Management. Alex is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.

James Hedley

Lauren started her career in management after graduating with a 1st class degree from University and has worked for Rathbones Trust Company and the Burdett Trust for Nursing since September 2021.Lauren supports the team working closely with case managers to ensure the smooth running of the Charities’ and Trusts’ administration.

Nolan Webber

Nolan manages portfolios for private clients, trusts, pensions, companies and charities. He is a graduate of the University of the West of England with a first class honours degree in Business Studies; and joined Rathbones in September 2001 – after three years in a similar role at Greig Middleton. Nolan is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI); where he is also past president of the CISI Bristol, Bath & South Wales Branch Committee. Outside of work Nolan is a member of MENSA and supports various charities.

Chris Handley

Chris is an Enterprise Architect, Strategist and Technical Evangelist who has been with Rathbones since February 2017. He has 21 years’ experience in Information Technology, with 10 of those in financial services having previously worked for Callcredit, now TransUnion UK. Chris has broad industry experience and qualifications, whilst also being a member of the BCS having been awarded Chartered IT Professional status in 2009. Chris enjoys golf and scuba diving using both as good excuses to travel the world.

Christopher Bartlett

Chris joined Rathbones from a national independent financial adviser and as well as being a Chartered Financial Planner is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Chris has been advising individuals and businesses since 1998 on investment, pension and inheritance tax. His areas of specialism include the planning relating to drawing benefits from pension plans and the use of trusts as part of family financial planning. Chris ensures that all of his clients examine all areas of financial planning to help them and their families plan in an ever-increasing complex world.
