Angus Kerr

Angus joined Rathbones Investment Management as Regional Director for the Glasgow office in May 2015 and became Head of Scotland, at Rathbones, in June 2021. Angus has over 25 years’ experience in the wealth management sector, attending to the needs of individuals, trusts, charities, and pension schemes.

Angela Smith

Angela has over twenty-five years of investment experience . She joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2014 and arrived at Rathbones in July 2019 following the integration of S&J. Angela started her investment career working as an investment manager for both Greig Middleton and Smith & Williamson. Angela manages a wide range of private client portfolios including pension and offshore bond investments. In addition she invests for a number of institutional portfolios including trusts and charities.

As senior investment director at Rathbones, based in Belfast, I work with a wide range of clients and professional introducers in both Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. I manage portfolios for private clients, trusts, SIPP's, charities and corporate entities. This involves working closely alongside other professionals, including solicitors, accountants, financial advisers and CSP providers to build and implement bespoke investment strategies for clients.

Alistair graduated from the University of Stirling in 2011 with an honours degree in Business Law. After an internship at a small fund management business in Glasgow, he joined HSBC’s Global Fund Pricing team in 2012. During his five years at HSBC, Alistair undertook his CISI Investment qualifications.

Ben Douglass-Lee

Ben joined Rathbones following the acquisition of Speirs & Jeffrey, where he initially started on the trainee scheme in 2018. Ben is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has obtained the Investment Advice Diploma in Securities & Derivatives and Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM) qualification. Ben holds a degree in Industrial Design & Technology from Loughborough University.

Darren Findlay

My specialist areas of financial planning advice include inheritance tax, pensions and other tax-efficient investment structures, as well as guidance regarding a client's overall wealth. I'm responsible for advice relating to significant funds under management.

David Nelson

David is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He joined Rathbones in April 2016 from the multi-family office Stonehage Fleming. David began his financial planning career in 2004 and over that time has provided effective counsel to a varied portfolio of wealthy individuals and families. He has a large professional network and works hard to ensure his clients receive the best possible outcomes and ongoing service.

Dean Young

Dean is an investment director, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder. He manages investment portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. Dean attended Edinburgh University where he was a member of the Scottish Universities Swimming Team. He joined Speirs and Jeffrey from university in 2006 after graduating with an honours degree in Economics. Speirs and Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Abigail Parker

Abigail joined Greenbank in 2018. She started her career with Computershare Investor Services in 2011 working in the correspondence and then gilts and structured product teams. She specialised as a dividend officer at Computershare from 2016 paying dividends for a number of FTSE 100 clients.
