Funds under management up 14.3% to £39.1 billion

<p>This is a preliminary statement of annual results published in accordance with FCA Listing Rule 9.7A.</p> <p>It covers the year ended 31 December 2017.</p> <p>Mark Nicholls, Chairman of Rathbones Group Plc, said:</p> <p>“UK and global investment markets performed well in 2017, with some indices reaching record levels towards the end of the year. This outcome has been positive for both Rathbones and our clients, with our funds under management reaching a record £39.1 billion, up 14.3% in the year.</p>

We are supporting ClearVision - National Braille Week

<img alt="" height="481" src="https://d2fbaur19mkdj9.cloudfront.net/sites/rathbones.com/files/imce/braille.jpg" width="454" /><p> </p> <p>We are supporting <a href="http://www.clearvisionproject.org/">ClearVision</a>, a lending library that adds Braille to children's books, before loaning them to visually impaired children.</p> <p>The charity's library is well established and serves over 1,000 families, schools, Vision Support Services and public libraries, making over 10,000 loans in the last year alone. </p>

Another win for the charities team at the 18th Annual Charity Times awards

<p>Rathbones’ charity team was delighted to win the Investment Manager of the Year award for the second year running at the 18<sup>th</sup> Annual Charity Times Awards on 4 October.</p> <p>The awards celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector and Rathbones were one of seven investment management firms shortlisted. The ceremony, run by Charity Times, took place at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge with winners announced by comedian Shappi Khorsandi. </p>
