About
Ekaterina Doubinina
Ekaterina Doubinina is a client-focused, results-driven investment professional with over 20 years’ experience advising entrepreneurs, families, and ultra-high-net-worth clients across global financial institutions. She built her career at three major international banks — Credit Suisse, Société Générale and UBS — before joining Rathbones, where she is now an Investment Director within the Private Office.
Throughout her career, Ekaterina has been recognised for managing complex client relationships, driving sustainable business growth, and delivering innovative, bespoke investment strategies. She brings a strong strategic lens and commercial acumen, underpinned by a deep commitment to trust, discretion, and long-term client outcomes. Her leadership experience includes building and mentoring high-performing teams and consistently enhancing client satisfaction through tailored, forward-looking advice. Her investment interests sit at the intersection of technology, artificial intelligence and healthcare innovation, with a particular focus on women’s wealth, founder liquidity, and impactful, multi-generational investing.
Ekaterina is especially passionate about helping clients align capital with purpose, resilience, and long-term societal progress without compromising financial discipline. Beyond her professional work, Ekaterina is driven by a broader personal mission: to close the financial education gap and empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their money. She is also a strong advocate for preventative health, educating communities on the transformative impact of nutrition, exercise and sleep as foundational pillars of physical and mental wellbeing. Outside the office, she practices martial arts and yoga and leads multidisciplinary health and wellbeing retreats.
