Marjorie Leonidas, CEO, Taggstar

Marjorie is the CEO and board member of Taggstar and has been at the helm since 2014.  When Marjorie joined, the business had three engineers and one customer. Taggstar now has 40 employees in the UK and USA and delivers world-class social proof messaging for major enterprise retailers such as Michael Kors, Marks & Spencers, John Lewis, Hugo Boss and many more to help them increase conversion and revenue.

Hiring and retaining talent in a very competitive SaaS market where salaries are at record highs and benefits are abundant means constantly thinking about how to continually strive to improve work-life balance for her team.

She is a digital veteran, having helped BT launch its WiFi business in the UK in 2003, as well as playing a key role in the digitisation of the London 2012 Olympic Games, providing the first WiFi in the London Underground and working with major hospitality retailers such as Starbucks, Hilton and Value Retail.

Marjorie founded a sourcing agency in Hong Kong, manufacturing for major brands such as Esprit and Guess Jeans. She employed over 60 employees from Hong Kong to Manila to Sri Lanka.  She took cross-language and culturalboundaries in her stride.

Sam Gordon, Co-Founder, Gordon & Eden

Sam is co-founder of the executive search firm Gordon & Eden. He has over 25 years of digital, technology and executive search experience; hiring the boards of high growth businesses and bringing digital and tech talent into major corporations. He has lived and worked in both the US and UK. Sam is an active angel investor and trustee of KnowThyself, a mental health charity whose purpose is to help people combat anxiety and stress in all aspects of life, starting with the workplace.
