James Boulter is Head of Portfolio Management for the Private Office and Strategic Partnership teams.
James joined Investec in 2016, where he now oversees the management of portfolios for high net worth clients.
James studied Economics and Modern History at the University of St Andrews, graduating in 2010. From there he joined Bank of America on the bank's graduate scheme and was subsequently recruited to Merrill Lynch Portfolio Managers and given responsibility for the management of multi-asset portfolios in 2012. The international wealth management operations of Merrill Lynch were acquired by Julius Baer in 2013.
Specialising in fixed income investments, James is a regular contributor to CNBC’s Squawk Box Europe programme.
