Alfie is Business Development Director for East of England working alongside Andy Austin. He is a key point of contact for IFAs, brokers and DFM clients.
Before joining Rathbones in 2016, Alfie worked as a broker at BGC for 4 years and spent a year at Franklin Templeton on the Sales Desk.
Alfie holds a BA (Hons) Politics degree from the University of Leeds.

He is responsible for growing the Rathbone footprint in the area via deeper relationships with the financial adviser community as well as discretionary fund managers. He joined Rathbones in March 2016, having spent three years with Old Mutual Global Investors. Previously he spent 10 years with Prudential Plc.

He specialises in discretionary fund management and multi-asset investment solutions for the financial adviser market. He joined Rathbones in 1993 and spent the first 23 years of his career working in Operations. In 2016, Gerry moved into a business development role and became a Key Account Manager working with a national strategic partner. In 2019, he became a DFM specialist responsible for developing relationships with all financial advisers in the region.
