David is an investment director working alongside James Blosse-Lynch, managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). 

Prior to joining Rathbones, David worked at Schroders for six years in the multi-asset investment team. Before moving into financial services David was in the British Army, serving in The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

He previously worked with Nick at Flemings and prior to that in Lloyd’s insurance market dealing with members of Lloyd’s. David is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities and Investment Institute.

David is an investment director responsible for managing private client portfolios, self-invested personal pensions, trusts and charities. 

He joined Rathbones in 2014 and has over a decade of investment experience, having worked previously at Jupiter Asset Management and Brown Shipley. Prior to this David graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class honours degree in Economics and Finance. 

He is a CFA charterholder and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). He sits on the Diversifiers Committee and has a particular interest in behavioural finance and disruptive technology.

David is a keen sportsperson and enjoys travelling in the UK and abroad.

David joined the Kendal office of Rathbones in 2001, having spent over 10 years completing his training and managing high net worth clients for Coutts in London.

David was awarded the Securities Institute Diploma and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. On an ongoing basis, David continues to receive his annual Statement of Professional Standing from the Institute.

Based in the Kendal office, David manages a range of private client, trust, pension and charity portfolios. In addition, he is a part of the Rathbones Procedures Committee which meets regularly to discuss and review internal processes, and is responsible for coordinating the Rathbones Financial Adviser Specialist Group within the North region.

Dawn is an investment manager's assistant, specialising in the administration of charity clients, as part of Rathbones specialist charity team. Dawn is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and has more than 30 years of financial industry experience. She started her career at Rathbones in 1987 and as well as administering private clients, has worked within the charity team since its inception.

Dawn is an investment manager's assistant, specialising in the administration of charity clients, as part of Rathbones specialist charity team. Dawn is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and has more than 30 years of financial industry experience. Dean attended Edinburgh University where he was a member of the Scottish Universities Swimming Team. He joined Speirs and Jeffrey from university in 2006 after graduating with an honours degree in Economics. Speirs and Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Dean is an investment director, Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder. He manages investment portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities.

Diana is a senior investment manager and works alongside Mark Cowan and Tony Smith. Diana graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an honours degree in Business Studies in 2006. After a brief spell at Aberdeen Asset Management as an analyst on the pan European equities desk, Diana moved to Anderson Strathern LLP in 2008 to pursue a career in private client investment management. She joined Speirs & Jeffrey in April 2013, then after spending some time in a client-facing role with Baillie Gifford, returned to Speirs & Jeffrey in November 2017.

Diana is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. She speaks fluent German as well as conversational level Russian. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Dominic joined Greenbank in 2020. He has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leicester. He began his career working at Morgan Stanley in London before heading to Close Brothers Asset Management.

Dominic has been awarded the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma and he is working towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) having passed the level 2 exam in May 2021.

Dominic joined Speirs & Jeffrey in the summer of 2016 after two years as an assistant investment manager with Charles Stanley in Edinburgh. Previous to this he worked at Barclays and HSBC.

Dominic works closely with Craig Baxter and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. In 2017 he achieved the highest mark for the Bond & Fixed Interest Markets exam and the Scottish CISI Diploma Award. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
