About you and your clients
As a lawyer, accountant or investment consultant, you are the trusted advisor that a client turns to for help. Your clients may be facing a number of different circumstances and working in partnership with you, we are able to help.
Selling a business requires planning to make the most of the opportunities available. We work closely with advisers to make sure that tax planning, wealth structuring and investment strategies are robust and integrated. We can help turn the success of a client’s business into financial security for their family.
Your clients may be in the process of divorcing. Through our Financial Awareness Programme, we can provide them with the skills and knowledge to make informed choices about their wealth. Our investment managers work closely with our chartered financial planners (or external planners if requested) to ensure that your client’s financial future is as secure as possible.
We are much more than an investment provider. We want to do everything we can to support the work that charity trustees do. Helping trustees and their management team to fulfil their obligations and maintain an awareness of best practice is an important part of our relationship.
Deputies and trustees (personal injury/Court of Protection)
Our personal injury and Court of Protection specialist team works closely with professional deputies and trustees to manage damage awards. We understand the nuances of personal injury investment and the responsibilities of deputies and trustees to make informed decisions regarding their client’s wider financial and/or welfare matters.
Resident non-domiciled (RND)
We have staff fully trained in the UK’s RND regulations and sensitive to RND requirements concerning UK situs assets and the segregation of income and capital. In addition to managing RND portfolios, our chartered financial planners have an understanding of the implications for RND investors of the UK’s tax rules and work closely with advisers to provide coordinated advice and support.
