Our fees are straightforward. We charge an annual fee for the management of our client's portfolio, which is calculated as a percentage of the total invested and charged quarterly in arrears.

This fee covers the day-to-day active management of your portfolio by an experienced team, who understand the nuances of this specialist area of investment.

Our fee includes:

  • all investment transactions
  • administration and investment custody
  • performance reporting
  • all contact with the team
  • face-to-face meetings
  • regular valuations, including income statements
  • annual tax reports
  • guidance on non-investment matters and referrals

There are no initial or exit charges, no platform charges, no performance fees nor charges for tendering for new cases.

Charges for financial planning and tax structuring advice will be quoted separately and agreed ahead of any implementation.

For each fee-paying client, the sum of £10 is set aside each quarter and transferred to the Rathbones Charitable Foundation. Annually, distributions are made to charities associated with our area of work, typically acquired brain injuries. Donations are in the region of £30,000 per annum, in addition to other regular fundraising activities undertaken by the team.
