Stuart graduated in 2013 with an honours degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde. Shortly thereafter he joined Speirs & Jeffrey.

Having completed the graduate investment management program and qualified as an investment manager at Speirs and Jeffrey,  Stuart chose to deepen his investment expertise, spending two years as a research analyst where his responsibilities included research coverage of global equity funds and a range of quoted equities.  Stuart returned to working as an investment manager as he enjoys the ability to continue to analyse investments while seeing first-hand the benefits well-chosen investments have on meeting his clients’ goals.  He works closely with Graham Waddell and Michael Wilson while also growing his own client base.

Stuart is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
