Andrew Sanders

Andrew Sanders is an investment director responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) accounts. He started his working life with Cazenove in London and Salisbury, moving up to Edinburgh in 1994 to work for Ivory & Sime Private Clients before helping to arrange its sale to Rathbones in 1998. He has over 26 years' experience in financial markets and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Within Rathbones Andrew sits on the Stock Selection Committee for Rathbones Investment Management, the Broker Selection Committee. He has a specialist interest in oil exploration and production stocks, and mining companies.

Andy Pitt

Andy Pitt graduated from Exeter University with a First Class Honours degree in Chemistry and Law, and subsequently spent three years as a solicitor in the corporate finance team at Freshfields in the early 1990s.

Andy joined Rathbones in June 2014 as an Investment Director and Head of Charities, London, following his previous role as Head of Charities at Newton Investment Management. Andy has also worked at Schroder Investment Management and UBS Wealth Management, and during his career has managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations, as well as individuals, trusts and corporates.

Andy is a visiting lecturer at the Cass Business School (Centre for Charity Effectiveness), and an external member of the investment committee of the Alzheimer’s Society. He is also an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK (ASIP) and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI). Andy is a keen sportsman with interests in skiing, horses and tennis, whilst enjoying time spent in the garden and with his family.

Andy joined Rathbones from Brewin Dolphin where he was a Divisional Director in the Newcastle Office.

Andy is a fellow of CISI with 27 years experience in the financial service sector having previously worked for Barclays Bank before joining Brewin Dolphin in 1996.

Over the last 20 years Andy has amassed a wide range of experience in dealing with the fast pace and changing face of investment markets, his knowledge has enabled him to provide an invaluable steer and insight for all of his clients through several market cycles.

At Rathbones Andy is continuing to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, companies, pension funds and charities. 

Angus Kerr

Angus is Regional Director for the Glasgow office. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.  He joined Greig Middleton in 1996 as a graduate trainee fund manager. 

In 1998 Angus joined Murray Johnstone Private Investors and following the take over of Murray Johnstone by Aberdeen Asset Managers he remained with AAM plc as a Fund Manager in the private client division.

In 2006 Aberdeen Private Investors was acquired by Brewin Dolphin and Angus joined the firm as Divisional Director. Angus successfully attained his MBA from Strathclyde University and In 2015 he joined Rathbones to head the Glasgow office and is responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and SIPP accounts.

Anique Greyling

Anique joined Rathbone Greenbank in May 2016, having started her career with Stonehage Fleming in London in 2014.  She has a BSc (Hons) in Business Science from Cape Town University and a Masters in Finance and Management from St Andrews University.
Anique has completed level III of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Program and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. 

Anthony Duff

Anthony is a trust manager in the London trust department which offers wealth management and family office services including the administration of private and chartable trusts, executorships and estate administration, associated tax advice, tax compliance and personal financial planning advice. 

Prior to joining Rathbones in 1999, Anthony worked for a number of years in a New Zealand legal practice having started his career with the New Zealand Inland Revenue.

Ben joined Rathbones in late 2015 having joined the industry in 2012 as an intern at Butterfield Private Bank. He has since worked his way up through the back office giving him extensive administrative knowledge which he applies to provide a smooth and efficient client experience.

Ben graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Law (LLB Hons), is an affiliate of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment) having completed his Investment Advice Diploma.

Ben spent the year prior to joining Rathbones living and working in China working on his Mandarin and immersing himself in the culture.

Ben is an Associate Sales Director responsible for client relationships and sales in the South West, South Wales, West Midlands and the Channel Islands. Ben joined Rathbones in 2013, having spent a number of years with AXA Investment Management, working in a similar capacity.

Ben Loughnane

Ben was an advisory small cap stock broker in the City from 2004. He then worked for 8 years at Ashcourt Rowan where he ultimately managed private client portfolios on a discretionary basis ranging from SIPPs and ISAs to offshore bonds. 

Ben is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Economics. He will be directly supporting Mark Winchester and Simon Whitmore whilst studying for the Masters in Wealth Management.

Bill McCowie

Bill has over 30 years' of experience in Financial Services, having worked for a Global Life and Pensions firm, a National IFA, a FTSE 100 Private Bank and latterly a UK Investment Management Group prior to joining Rathbones in 2017.
He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS). 
Bill provides holistic, Independent Financial Advice to many high net worth individuals and business clients. Primarily advising on their investments, retirement planning, protection and Inheritance Tax requirements incorporating trust planning when appropriate.

Brian joined Rathbones in 1981 after graduating from UMIST in Manchester with a degree in Management Science, specialising in economics and financial analysis.

Brian is an Investment Director, responsible for Rathbones' investment management business in Liverpool.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has over 30 years' experience in managing portfolios for private individuals, pension funds and charitable trusts.

Brian is Associate Sales Director for Scotland & Northern Ireland. He is responsible for growing the Rathbone footprint in the area via deeper relationships with the Financial Adviser community as well as Discretionary Fund Managers. He joined Rathbones in March 2016, having spent 3 years with Old Mutual Global Investors. Previously he spent 10 years with Prudential Plc.

Bruce is managing director of UK Trust and has gained a wide range of expertise and knowledge from over 30 years practical experience in all areas of corporate, private and charity trust work. Bruce now specialises in family office services for wealthy clients and is also a trustee of a significant grant-giving foundation.

Bruce joined Rathbones in 2002 having worked with Hambros for the previous 25 years managing its private bank and trust business for the majority of that time.

Bryn Jones

Bryn is the Head of Fixed Income for Rathbones, and is lead manager on the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund and the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund. He joined Rathbones in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch, where he managed $2 billion of fixed income assets.

Bryn is a member of the Rathbone Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, Non-Executive Chairman of Rathbones' Fixed Income Committee, and an adviser to the Rathbone Banking Committee. He is a WMA representative for the HMT DMO’s (Her Majesty’s Treasury - Debt Management Office) Gilt market consultation process. Bryn appears regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. He also sits on the IA Fixed Income Committee.

Bryn graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1995.  Bryn’s Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund was awarded Best Sterling Corporate Bond Fund at the Morningstar UK Fund Awards 2014 and 2016; Best SRI Bond Fund at the Money Observer 2015, 2016 and 2017 Fund Awards; the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund is also a top performer in the Bond Pound Sterling – Corporates sector over 3 and 5 years in the UK (Lipper Fund Award 2015) and was ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2015 Moneywise Awards. His Rathbone Strategic Bond fund was voted best Multi-Asset Fixed Income Strategy at the Investment Week Specialist Investment Awards 2015 and was highly commended in 2016.

Camilla Finnegan

Camilla joined Rathbones in February 2016 as an Equity Analyst predominantly covering UK stocks. Prior to this, Camilla worked at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management. The majority of her time there was in the Third Party Funds Team acting as a Product Specialist for the Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds and Exchange Traded Funds on platform across all asset classes. Camilla graduated from the University of Bath in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) 2:1 degree in Economics. Camilla holds the Investment Management Certificate and has passed Levels I and II of the CFA Program.

Camilla Klemme is an investment manager, and has worked in private client fund management since 2011. She joined Rathbones in 2011 having previously worked at Lyxor Asset Management, part of the Societe Generale Group.

Camilla graduated from the University of Edinburgh gaining a 2:1 in Geography in 2010 and became a qualified Chartered Wealth Manager, MCSI, in 2014, having completed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Masters.

Camilla assists Investment Directors’ Clive Hexton and Tim Johnson in managing discretionary private client investment portfolios for complex family structures, including the management of bespoke family funds.  Alongside participating in researching investment ideas and providing administrative support, Camilla is also a member of the Overseas Investment Committee, which has responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring of international equity exposure for the group.

Carl Stick

Carl is a Board Director of Rathbone Unit Trust Management and plays a key role in the development of Rathbones’ investment process and business strategy. He is also the manager of the Rathbone Income Fund, which he has been managing since January 2000.

After Rathbones acquired Neilson Cobbold in 1996, Carl transferred to London in August 1998, where he became an assistant fund manager for the unit trust business, working alongside Hugh Priestley. Carl graduated from the University of Southampton in 1991 with a BA Honours degree in English Literature. He is also I.I.M.R.-qualified and a Fellow of the Securities Institute.

Carol Macintyre

Carol Macintyre is an investment director who has worked in investment management since December 1981 and she has been responsible for the discretionary management of investment portfolios for private clients, charities and trusts since 1990. Carol is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager. 

Carol joined Rathbones’ Edinburgh Office in July 2010 having worked previously for the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Services from the end of 1981. Whilst with the Bank of Scotland, as well as managing discretionary portfolios, she was involved with the training of colleagues and with compliance monitoring.

Caroline O'Callaghan

Caroline O'Callaghan is an investment director.  After running a privately owned asset management business for 10 years, Caroline moved to the New Forest in 1995, joining Brewin Dolphin in Lymington.  She was appointed as a divisional director and managed discretionary and advisory portfolios, with a particular interest in income focused and ethical investments.  The majority of her clients are private individuals and charities.

Caroline worked at Brewin Dolphin for 17 years and was responsible for the management of over £110m. She particularly enjoys the client relationship aspect of portfolio management.

Catherine Murphy

Catherine Murphy advises Greenbank on charity funds. She previously worked at Henderson Global Investors from 1986 to 2001, as the fund manager responsible for institutional SRI portfolios and then as a director of Henderson’s Socially Responsible Investment Team. Her clients included the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust as well as County Council Environmental Funds.

Catherine Taylor

Catherine manages the offshore operational infrastructure supporting the growing international private client business. She has over 18 years experience in the finance industry, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 2000.

Charles Morgan

Charles Morgan is an investment director, he is responsible for the management of private client portfolios, including trusts, charities and pension funds (SIPPs). Charles began his career as a trainee stockbroker with Charles Stanley & Co in 1986 before joining Laurence Keen in 1990, which was acquired by Rathbone Brothers Plc in 1995. Charles is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Charles Sargent is an investment director, he manages a range of private client portfolios, pension funds and trusts alongside Rupert Baron and Andrew Hess.

Charles has a degree in Business Administration and has completed the Chartered Securities Institute’s Masters in Wealth Management achieving a distinction in the final paper. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and sits on the firms Collectives Research Committee.

Charles joined Rathbones in 2007 from Hargreave Hale where he worked as a stockbroker. Prior to this he worked as a freelance producer of factual entertainment and documentaries in the television industry.

Charles Wilcox

Charles has over 25 years experience managing investments for charities, private clients and associated family trust structures. His principal role is as a senior fund manager with responsibility for over £250m of client money. He also sits on the Stock Selection Committee with particular expertise in UK companies. Charles is also the Rathbone representative on the FTSE/APCIMS Indices Committee. He was educated at Downside School and Exeter University where he attained a 2:1 degree in Economics and Geography. Subsequently he worked for Henderson Crosthwaite and Laurence Keen until the latter was acquired by Rathbones in 1998, where he has worked for c. 15 years.

Charlie Younger is an investment director and has over 30 years investment experience. His prime responsibility is the discretionary management of investment portfolios for private clients, self invested personal pensions (SIPPs), trusts and charities. Charlie is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Previously, Charlie worked in investment management roles in Scotland and London with Greig Middleton, Laing & Cruickshank and Merrill Lynch International, and was elected a member of the London Stock Exchange in 1988. He joined Rathbones in Edinburgh in 2000.

Cherie Hamoudi

Cherie Hamoudi is an investment director with responsibility for the investment management of portfolios for private clients and their Trusts, self invested pension plans (SIPPs) and charities. She has over 26 years experience having started her financial career at Torrie & Co, stockbrokers, after which she spent a decade at Albyn Investments (which was acquired by Rathbones in 1998). Cherie then joined a private client law firm, Turcan Connell, where she was a senior investment manager responsible for managing discretionary portfolios. 

Cherie joins Rathbones after six years at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management where she was a vice president. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute and is also a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Chris Ray

Chris Ray is an investment director based in London, with over 25 years experience of managing private client, trust and charity portfolios, mostly on a discretionary basis. He joined Rathbones in 2011, having started his city career in 1984 with Henderson Crosthwaite and remaining with its successor companies for nearly 27 years. He is a History graduate from the University of Warwick and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment

Christoph Atkins

Christoph started his career at Blick Rothenberg Chartered Accountants. In 2007, he went on to work at Rathbones in the London office for over four years before taking up an opportunity working at the financial regulator, the FSA in 2011. Christoph re-joined Rathbones in 2013 as part of the new Newcastle office.

Christoph graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Mathematics, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) Diploma (achieving a distinction in both the Investment Analysis paper and the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Paper).

Christoph currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the Headway Gateshead and South Tyneside Charity, a local charity helping individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.

Christopher Bartlett

Chris joined Rathbones from a national independent financial adviser and as well as being a Chartered Financial Planner is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Chris has been advising individuals and businesses since 1998 on investment, pension and inheritance tax. His areas of specialism include the planning relating to drawing benefits from pension plans and the use of trusts as part of family financial planning. Chris ensures that all of his clients examine all areas of financial planning to help them and their families plan in an ever increasing complex world.

Christopher Bullock

Christopher Bullock is an investment director at Rathbone Greenbank, specialising in managing ethical portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and was the recipient of the Overall Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment Masters in Wealth Management Award for 2010.

Christopher has been with Rathbones since 2008 and was previously at Hargreaves Lansdown and is a graduate of Bristol University (2000).
