Andy is an Associate Sales Director at Rathbones, responsible for the South and the East Midlands. He joined Rathbones in September 2014, having spent over 2 years as a Senior Client Relationship Manager for Schroders. Andy brings over 10 years’ sales’ experience, having also worked at M&G in a variety of client-focused roles.

Andrew Dawson Paul is an investment director with over twenty years’ experience of managing discretionary investment portfolios for private individuals, their pensions and family trust structures. He also manages investments for charities including a City Livery Company.

After graduating from Durham University, Andrew joined the City stockbroking firm of Laurence Keen and qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Laurence Keen was acquired by Rathbones in 1995.

Andrew Morris is responsible for Rathbones’ Investment Management business in the UK outside London. He also manages a large number of client portfolios. He has spent his entire working career at Rathbones in private client investment management and joined the group executive committee in July 2015.

Andrew Sanders is an investment director responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) accounts. He started his working life with Cazenove in London and Salisbury, moving up to Edinburgh in 1994 to work for Ivory & Sime Private Clients before helping to arrange its sale to Rathbones in 1998. He has over 26 years' experience in financial markets and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Within Rathbones Andrew sits on the Stock Selection Committee for Rathbones Investment Management, the Broker Selection Committee. He has a specialist interest in oil exploration and production stocks, and mining companies.

Andrew Waddell

Andrew is an Investment Director and has a broad and growing client base. An honours graduate in political studies from Aberdeen University, Andrew is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Chiene & Tait in Edinburgh. After qualifying as a CA, he joined Edinburgh Fund Managers (now part of Standard Life Aberdeen), working as a fund manager within the group's UK small companies team and then its enlarged UK department.

Andrew joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 1999.  He is a Member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of the UK. Formally a director of Speirs & Jeffrey, he was responsible for the oversight of the firm’s research department.  He is a Governor of The Glasgow Academy and acts as trustee for a number of external organisations. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Andy Pitt

Andy Pitt graduated from Exeter University with a First Class Honours degree in Chemistry and Law, and subsequently spent three years as a solicitor in the corporate finance team at Freshfields in the early 1990s.

Andy joined Rathbones in June 2014 as an Investment Director and Head of Charities, London, following his previous role as Head of Charities at Newton Investment Management. Andy has also worked at Schroder Investment Management and UBS Wealth Management, and during his career has managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations, as well as individuals, trusts and corporates.

Andy is a visiting lecturer at the Cass Business School (Centre for Charity Effectiveness), and an external member of the investment committee of the Alzheimer’s Society. He is also an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK (ASIP) and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI). Andy is a keen sportsman with interests in skiing, horses and tennis, whilst enjoying time spent in the garden and with his family.

Andy is a Financial Planner with over 14 years’ experience working in the financial services industry and nearly 5 years with  Rathbones. Andy holds Diplomas in Financial Planning and Regulated Financial Planning, and is aiming to complete his  Level 6 Chartered qualification next year. Andy provides holistic financial planning to high net worth individuals in partnership with Investment Managers and through the building of long-term client relationships in order to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Andy joined Rathbones from Brewin Dolphin where he was a Divisional Director in the Newcastle Office.

Andy is a fellow of CISI with 27 years experience in the financial service sector having previously worked for Barclays Bank before joining Brewin Dolphin in 1996.

Over the last 20 years Andy has amassed a wide range of experience in dealing with the fast pace and changing face of investment markets, his knowledge has enabled him to provide an invaluable steer and insight for all of his clients through several market cycles.

At Rathbones Andy is continuing to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, companies, pension funds and charities.

Angela is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and started her investment career in 1992 when she joined Greig Middleton (which became Gerrard). Most recently Angela was an investment manager at Smith and Williamson where she arranged both advisory and discretionary portfolios for a wide range of clients for over eight years.

Angela joined Speirs & Jeffrey in January 2014 and was appointed an Investment Director in January 2018. She works closely with Russell Crichton. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Angus Kerr

Angus is Regional Director for the Glasgow office. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.  He joined Greig Middleton in 1996 as a graduate trainee fund manager. 

In 1998 Angus joined Murray Johnstone Private Investors and following the take over of Murray Johnstone by Aberdeen Asset Managers he remained with AAM plc as a Fund Manager in the private client division.

In 2006 Aberdeen Private Investors was acquired by Brewin Dolphin and Angus joined the firm as Divisional Director. Angus successfully attained his MBA from Strathclyde University and In 2015 he joined Rathbones to head the Glasgow office and is responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and SIPP accounts.

Anique joined Rathbone Greenbank in May 2016, having started her career with Stonehage Fleming in London in 2014.  She has a BSc (Hons) in Business Science from Cape Town University and a Masters in Finance and Management from St Andrews University.
Anique is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Archie joined Rathbones in 2018 as a voting & governance analyst. He supports Matt Crossman, on the stewardship team, ensuring informed proxy voting and corporate engagement activities are part of Rathbones’ stewardship policies, and helping to promote the integration of ESG within the investment process.

Prior to Rathbones, Archie worked for Oikocredit in their UK & Ireland office. During his time there, he worked as a client executive, tasked with generating capital from individuals and institutions.

Archie graduated in 2015 from the University of Edinburgh with a Masters in Theology.

Arron is the Associate Sales Director at Rathbones, responsible for the South of England. He joined Rathbones in July 2018, having spent over 3 years as a Regional Sales Manager for Liontrust. Arron brings over 12 years’ industry experience, having also worked at Kames Capital and Transact in a variety of client-focused roles.

Audrey joined Rathbones in early 2017 having previously worked in the industry as a client service executive at Bordier and Cie (UK) Limited. She was later promoted to a senior client service executive whilst working at Bordier.

Audrey graduated, with a 2:1 (Hons) degree, from Bristol University in 2011 and worked as an Intern at an Investment Management firm in the City for one year.

Audrey works as a client service executive for two investment directors, Charles Wilcox and Andrew Dawson Paul.

Ben Gow

Ben joined Rathbones in late 2015 having joined the industry in 2012 as an intern at Butterfield Private Bank. He has since worked his way up through the back office giving him extensive administrative knowledge which he applies to provide a smooth and efficient client experience.

Ben graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Law (LLB Hons), is an affiliate of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment) having completed his Investment Advice Diploma.

Ben spent the year prior to joining Rathbones living and working in China working on his Mandarin and immersing himself in the culture.

Ben Haymer

Ben Haymer joined Rathbone Investment Management International in Jersey in May 2019. He is a client manager with responsibility for the growth of the overseas institutional and private client base with an emphasis on the Middle East. Ben, who graduated from Swansea University with a BSc in Mathematics, began his finance career in 2011 at NatWest Offshore in Jersey, where he was an International Wealth Manager. He subsequently managed a portfolio of High Net Worth clients at HSBC Expat; and most recently he worked at Brooks Macdonald International as a Client Manager with a focus on private clients in the Middle East.

Ben is a Chartered Wealth Manager and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), having passed the CISI Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) with merit. He holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and the CISI Islamic Finance Qualification. He has recently passed the first paper of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification and plans to continue his studies.

Ben Johnson

Ben is the Head of Regional Sales (UK), with responsibility for the Rathbones distribution team covering intermediaries in the UK & Ireland. Ben joined the business in 2013 as a Regional Sales Director, responsible for client relationships and strategy within the South West, Channel Islands, Midlands and Wales. Prior to joining Rathbones, Ben was a regional sales manager at AXA Investment Managers covering a similar geographical region mainly focused on the IFA marketplace.

Ben was an advisory small cap stock broker in the City from 2004. He then worked for 8 years at Ashcourt Rowan where he ultimately managed private client portfolios ranging from SIPPs and ISAs to offshore Bonds. Ben is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Economics.  He directly supports Mark Winchester and Simon Whitmore whilst building his own client base. 

Ben is married with two children and rugby union and playing music are his main interests outside of work.

Brendan Butler

Brendan manages portfolios for private clients, trusts and pensions. After graduating from the University of Glasgow with a First Class Honours degree in Veterinary Bioscience, Brendan went on to study for an MSc in Investment and Finance at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in September 2014 before Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Brendan is a Chartered Wealth Manager.  He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

In addition to providing advice to his growing client base, Brendan also works closely with Andrew Waddell.

Brian joined Rathbones in 1981 after graduating from UMIST in Manchester with a degree in Management Science, specialising in economics and financial analysis.

Brian is an Investment Director, responsible for Rathbones' investment management business in Liverpool.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has over 30 years' experience in managing portfolios for private individuals, pension funds and charitable trusts.

Brian is Associate Sales Director for Scotland & Northern Ireland. He is responsible for growing the Rathbone footprint in the area via deeper relationships with the Financial Adviser community as well as Discretionary Fund Managers. He joined Rathbones in March 2016, having spent 3 years with Old Mutual Global Investors. Previously he spent 10 years with Prudential Plc.

Bruce is managing director of UK Trust and has gained a wide range of expertise and knowledge from over 30 years practical experience in all areas of corporate, private and charity trust work. Bruce now specialises in family office services for wealthy clients and is also a trustee of a significant grant-giving foundation.

Bruce joined Rathbones in 2002 having worked with Hambros for the previous 25 years managing its private bank and trust business for the majority of that time.

Bryn Jones

Bryn is the Head of Fixed Income for Rathbones, and is lead manager on the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund and the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund. He joined Rathbones in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch, where he managed $2 billion of fixed income assets.

Bryn is a member of the Rathbone Strategic Asset Allocation Committee, Non-Executive Chairman of Rathbones' Fixed Income Committee, and an adviser to the Rathbone Banking Committee. He is a WMA representative for the HMT DMO’s (Her Majesty’s Treasury - Debt Management Office) Gilt market consultation process. Bryn appears regularly on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. He also sits on the IA Fixed Income Committee.

Bryn graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1995.  Bryn’s Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund was awarded Best Sterling Corporate Bond Fund at the Morningstar UK Fund Awards 2014 and 2016; Best SRI Bond Fund at the Money Observer 2015, 2016 and 2017 Fund Awards; the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund is also a top performer in the Bond Pound Sterling – Corporates sector over 3 and 5 years in the UK (Lipper Fund Award 2015) and was ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2015 Moneywise Awards. His Rathbone Strategic Bond fund was voted best Multi-Asset Fixed Income Strategy at the Investment Week Specialist Investment Awards 2015 and was highly commended in 2016.

Originally from the Highlands, Calum joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2015 after spending five years at Baillie Gifford. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2009 with a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Financial Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019. Calum works closely with Graeme Dickie.

Cameron graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2009 with an honours degree in law. While studying for his degree he spent a year abroad in Nijmegen in The Netherlands.

He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in August 2009 and initially worked in the custody department, moving to the investment support department in the summer of 2010. Cameron was appointed an Investment Director in December 2017.

Cameron works closely with Graeme Dickie and Craig Baxter. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Security & Investment. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Camilla Ayling

Camilla joined Rathbones in February 2016 as an Equity Analyst covering UK stocks across all sectors. She is now responsible for generating new stock ideas to recommend to the Stock Selection Committees for both UK and Overseas equities and for maintaining coverage of securities held.

Prior to Rathbones, Camilla worked at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management. The majority of her time there was in the Third Party Funds Team, acting as a Product Specialist for the Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds and Exchange Traded Funds on platform across all asset classes, but she also gained experience in Investment Advisory too. Camilla graduated from the University of Bath in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) 2:1 degree in Economics. Camilla holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Camilla Hill started her career in 2016 when she joined the Rathbones Graduate Scheme. She spent time circulating a number of investment management teams, our investment research desk as well as our back office in Liverpool, before joining James Goodhew’s team as an assistant Investment Manager in 2018.

Camilla assists in the management of discretionary portfolios for private clients, pensions, trusts and charities. As well having a keen interest in UK politics and equity investment trusts, she enjoys building strong relationships with the team’s clients, understanding their goals and providing an excellent service.

Camilla graduated from the University of Bristol with a 2:1 in Politics and Sociology. She is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, holds the Investment Advice Diploma and the Chartered Wealth Management qualification.

Camilla Klemme

Camilla Klemme is an investment manager, and has worked in private client fund management since 2011. She joined Rathbones in 2011 having previously worked at Lyxor Asset Management, part of the Societe Generale Group.

Camilla graduated from the University of Edinburgh gaining a 2:1 in Geography in 2010 and became a qualified Chartered Wealth Manager, MCSI, in 2014, having completed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Masters.

Camilla assists Investment Directors’ Clive Hexton and Tim Johnson in managing discretionary private client investment portfolios for complex family structures, including the management of bespoke family funds.  Alongside participating in researching investment ideas and providing administrative support, Camilla is also a member of the Overseas Investment Committee, which has responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring of international equity exposure for the group.

Carl Stick

Carl is a Board Director of Rathbone Unit Trust Management and plays a key role in the development of Rathbones’ investment process and business strategy. He is also the manager of the Rathbone Income Fund, which he has been managing since January 2000.

After Rathbones acquired Neilson Cobbold in 1996, Carl transferred to London in August 1998, where he became an assistant fund manager for the unit trust business, working alongside Hugh Priestley. Carl graduated from the University of Southampton in 1991 with a BA Honours degree in English Literature. He is also I.I.M.R.-qualified and a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
