John David
Head of Rathbone Greenbank Investments
Bristol John.David@rathbones.comJohn is head of Rathbone Greenbank Investments and is an investment director. In addition to managing bespoke private client and charity portfolios, John also sits on Rathbones’ Social and Environmental and Corporate Governance Committees.
John is a graduate of Exeter University and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He began his financial career in 1997 with UBS Warburg in London before moving to Bristol to join Greig Middleton. He joined Rathbones in 2001 and was a founder member of Rathbone Greenbank.
John Duffy

Liverpool John.Duffy@rathbones.comJohn is a tax and trust consultant working in Liverpool for Rathbones, offering tax planning advice, administration and accountancy services to trustees, individuals and corporate entities.
John has extensive experience in the trust and taxation field having previously occupied consultant roles at chartered accountancy practices in London and Liverpool.
John has an honours degree in Accountancy and is also a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). As part of his ongoing commitment to technical development, John sits on the STEP Liverpool Branch Committee.

Winchester Jon.Liddiard@rathbones.comJon is an investment director. His clients consist of private individuals, charities, trusts and personal pensions. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Jon's career started on the floor of the Stock Exchange with Greene & Co in 1981. In 1985 he joined Sheppards & Chase and remained with them for over 21 years and through several mergers until moving to Rathbones.
Jon Perree
Trust manager
Liverpool Jon.Perree@rathbones.comJon joined Rathbone Trust Company as a trust manager in 2016 and is responsible for all aspects of trust administration for a large portfolio of clients and takes a key role in working with IFAs and their respective clients.
His career started offshore in Jersey in 1997 where he dealt with international HNWI and non-domiciled UK individuals and the complex offshore structures set up to preserve their wealth. Jon moved to the UK in 2005 and has since specialised in Onshore Trust compliance and advisory work but also has experience with estate administration and personal taxation.
Jon’s excellent communication skills together with his legal, banking and accounting experience enable him to administer all types of trust and advise on a variety of different matters in trust administration. He enjoys building relationships with our clients to better understand their needs.
Jon’s qualifications include a Diploma with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Certificates of Competency from the Association of Taxation Technicians in Personal Tax and Estate Administration. Jon is currently a STEP Affiliate and is working towards full membership status.
Jonathan Brock

Edinburgh Jonathan.Brock@rathbones.comJonathan joined Rathbones in 2011 and provides discretionary management for private clients, pensions, trusts and charity portfolios. He started his investment career at JP Morgan in 2007 and prior to joining Rathbones, worked at Newton assisting in the management of private client portfolios.
Jonathan graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2007 with a 2:1 in Economics & Management and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He holds both the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the CISI Level 7 Masters in Wealth Management.
Jonathan Hill

London Jonathan.hill@rathbones.comJonathan is an investment director, joining Rathbones in March 2011. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and has been managing investments for a wide range of private individuals, trusts, SIPPs and charities since 1983.
Jonathan originally started his city career as a jobber with Wedd Durlacher Mordaunt before moving across to stockbroking with Henderson Crosthwaite in 1983. Jonathan managed the Horsham office for Henderson Crosthwaite for a number of years before returning to London shortly before the firm merged to become Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite. He moved to Teather & Greenwood in 2001, and thereafter experienced a number of changes of ownership before resigning from BNP Paribas to join Rathbones.

London Jonathan.Moon@rathbones.comJonathan is an investment director at Rathbone Greenbank, specialising in managing tailored investment portfolios with a focus on sustainability, impact and ESG considerations. He started his career as an investment adviser at Tilney Investment Management and has since held roles at Close Brothers Asset Management and Sanlam Private Office, working with both private clients and professional intermediaries.
Jonathan holds the Investment Management Certificate, the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Diploma and the CISI Masters in Wealth Management. He is also a CFA Charterholder and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing as well as the STEP Certificate for Financial Services.
A Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investments, Jonathan has a B.A. in Management Studies with Spanish from the University of Nottingham. He joined Rathbones in March 2022 and provides values-based investment solutions for private clients, trusts and charities, with an emphasis on ethical and socially responsible portfolios.
Jonny Holmes

Winchester Jonathan.Holmes@rathbones.comJonny is an investment manager in the Winchester office. He joined Rathbones in summer 2019 having moved from Quilter Cheviot where he worked for eight years.
Jonny is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute and is a Chartered Financial Technician (CFTe) and a member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA). He and his young family are based in Southampton.
Julian Longton

Julian achieved the Securities Industry Diploma in 1997 having joined A H Cobbold & Co in 1986. In October 2010 Julian became a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Julian Masters

London Julian.Masters@rathbones.comJulian is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment with 25 years’ investment management experience. He specialises in managing investments for private clients, trusts, charities, corporates, personal pension funds and the clients of financial advisers.
Prior to joining Rathbones, Julian spent 12 years as a divisional director at Brewin Dolphin, where he co-managed a large team alongside Investment Manager, Elliot Greenwood. He was also a member of the group’s Asset Allocation Committee, which helped steer company investment policy. While at Brown Shipley he was personally responsible for looking after £100m of high net worth overseas clients, investing directly into global equities, bonds and hedge funds.
Julian re-joined his long-standing colleagues at Rathbones in February 2021 to take up the position as the team’s senior investment director. He also sits on a number of client reporting & proposition committees.
Julie Smith

Glasgow Julie.Smith@rathbones.comJulie is an investment manager, managing investment portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts, charities and pensions. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Securities and Investment Institute, completing her Diploma in December 2007.
Julie joined Rathbones in July 2015 following nearly nine years with Brewin Dolphin and five and a half years with Aberdeen Asset Managers in trainee and investment manager roles.
As well as Julie’s CISI Diploma, her qualifications also include the Investment Management Certificate, Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 and 3, and a Degree in Commerce.
Justin Armet

Justin is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) which is a CISI Level 6 qualification.
Justin started his career in investment management in 1988 with Bank of Scotland, initially as a trainee investment manager. During his time with Bank of Scotland he was also responsible for developing and marketing the service. He joined Rathbones' Edinburgh office in 2010 following the acquisition of the Bank of Scotland business from Lloyds.

Winchester Justine.Peck@rathbones.comJustine has a vast experience investing private client portfolios having been with Rathbones for more than 30 years. She is a respected member of our firm and sits on our Investment Executive Committee as well as the IFA Investment Committee. She acts as regional co-ordinator for IFA relationships across the South, recognising the importance of a holistic approach to clients’ finances.
Justine is active in the local area and as deputy head of Rathbones’ Winchester office she heads up our annual carol concert in the historic setting of Winchester Cathedral among other events. Many of Justine’s clients have invested with her for several generations and she sees her role as more than just managing investments. She is passionate about getting to know families and helping them grow over the years to meet both their investment goals and life ambitions.

Bristol Kai.Johns@rathbones.comKai joined the ethical research team in March 2019 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Law. He is responsible for assessing the social and environmental performance of companies.
Kat Harrington-Milne

Liverpool Kat.Harrington-Milne@rathbones.comKat has worked with recipients of personal injury awards for 20 years. She provides specialist advice to clients, professional and lay deputies and guardians, and trustees of personal injury awards. Kat joined Rathbones in 2020 from Barclays Wealth.
Kat is passionate about helping her clients, together with their legal representatives, take control of their financial future. Her goal is to ensure every client can make informed decisions, driven by a clear understanding on how this might affect their long term financial position. Her advice is tailored to the individual needs of each client, depending on their circumstances, as well as the nature and severity of their injuries.
She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and a Chartered Financial Planner of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Kat is working towards the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners Diploma.
When not helping clients, Kat attempts to train her sproodle.

Bristol Kate.Elliot@rathbones.comKate is head of Rathbone Greenbank’s ethical, sustainable and impact research team. She oversees the development and implementation of the team’s sustainability assessment framework, analysing investments against a range of environmental, social and governance criteria. She also monitors emerging sustainability themes, sets priorities for Greenbank’s stewardship and engagement activities and has developed the team’s systems for the measurement and reporting of portfolio sustainability and impact performance. She joined Rathbones in 2007 after graduating from the University of Bristol with a masters in Philosophy and Mathematics.
Kate Palmer

Her career began in London with Bordier UK (formerly Berry Asset Management) where she was responsible for managing portfolios for private clients, personal pension funds and trusts. She spent 10 years at Bordier before joining Rathbones in 2016.
Kate is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Masters in Wealth Management. She graduated from the University of Manchester with an honours degree in Economics.
