Amy McCulloch
Assistant investment manager
Glasgow amy.mcculloch@rathbones.comAmy joined Rathbones in October 2020 through the Rathbones Graduate Scheme, having graduated with a first-class degree in Accountancy and Finance at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. The 24 month long Graduate Scheme involved gaining in-depth experience and knowledge of Rathbones by exposure to a variety of departments. Amy now works as an Assistant Investment Manager in the Glasgow Office. She works closely alongside Tony Smith in providing discretionary investment management services for private individuals, pensions, and trusts.
Amy is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, having achieved the Investment Advice Diploma in 2021. She is currently working towards the completion of the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.
Andrea Hanley

Glasgow Andrea.Hanley@rathbones.comAndrea joined Rathbones in April 2015 as an investment manager and specialises in the management of charities and private clients as well as looking after pension and trust portfolios.
Andrea started her career with Brewin Dolphin in April 2004 and has achieved her Diploma in Investment Compliance and her Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification. She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (FCSI).
Andrea is an ambassador for Rathbones Financial Awareness training, speaking to children and young adults to provide an insight into the wider world of money and personal finance as well as an overview of the investment management industry.
In addition, she is a keen supporter of the Beatson Cancer Charity, undertaking fund-raising activities and volunteers as a support carer for South Lanarkshire Council.
Andrea Marandino
ESG and Stewardship Analyst
London Andrea.Marandino@rathbones.comAndrea Marandino joined Rathbones as an ESG and Stewardship Analyst in August 2020. She supports proxy voting, corporate engagement activities, and wider ESG integration as part of Rathbones’ stewardship and responsible investment policies. She has a special interest in climate change and helps with the development, implementation and disclosure of Rathbones’ strategic response to climate change. Prior to that, she was a Sustainable Finance and Corporate Risk Manager at WWF-UK, and a Senior Policy Advisor on low carbon finance at E3G. She is also a guest lecturer on Corporate Governance at Birkbeck College, University of London. Andrea has a BA in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, an MA in European Studies from the University of Bath, and an MSc in Corporate Governance and Ethics from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Bristol Andrew.Barratt@rathbones.comAndrew joined Greenbank in 2020, he is Rathbone Greenbank’s operating officer and is responsible for the operational running of Greenbank and helping to design and deliver Greenbank’s strategic growth plan.
Andrew started his financial services career in 1997 with JPMorgan. Over the last 26 years he has worked in a variety of leadership roles focussing on strategy and transformation within high growth businesses. This has been across Investment Banking, Private Banking, Corporate Finance and Management Consultancy, most recently as head of change at Investec Private Bank.
Andrew holds a BSc in Geography from Derby University.
Andrew Dawson Paul

London Andrew.Dawson-Paul@rathbones.comAndrew is an investment director with over 25 years’ experience of managing discretionary investment portfolios for private individuals, their pensions and family trust structures. He also manages investments for charities including a City Livery Company.
After graduating from Durham University, Andrew joined the City stockbroking firm of Laurence Keen and qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Laurence Keen was acquired by Rathbones in 1998.
Andrew Gaffney
Investment manager
Glasgow andrew.gaffney@rathbones.comAndrew works closely with Graeme Dickie in Glasgow, providing assistance to a wide range of clients. He completed an undergraduate degree at Glasgow Caledonian University in Finance, Investment and Risk. After obtaining a 2:1, he went on to complete a Master’s degree in Investment Fund Management, achieving a Merit from the University of Glasgow.
Andrew joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2018 on their graduate scheme before Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
He has achieved the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice as well as the CISI level 7 Diploma in Wealth Management and is now a member of the Chartered Institute.
Andrew Impey
Consultant
LondonAndrew has over 35 years fund management experience. He has managed a wide range of funds, including charities, unit trusts, investment trusts and a portfolio for a sovereign wealth fund. He has also been responsible for overseeing investment process including asset allocation. Before joining Rathbones he was previously a partner of Albion Capital Group LLP and a Managing Director of OLIM Ltd. Prior to that he held various positions including Chief Investment Officer at Singer & Friedlander and as a director of Dresdner RCM Global Investors. He has held various non-executive roles and is currently Chairman of JP Morgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc, a charity trustee and on the investment committee of various not for profit organisations.
Andrew Sanders

Edinburgh Andrew.Sanders@rathbones.comAndrew is an investment director responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and self-invested personal pension (SIPP) accounts. He started his working life with Cazenove in London and Salisbury, moving up to Edinburgh in 1994 to work for Ivory & Sime Private Clients before helping to arrange its sale to Rathbones in 1998. He has over 26 years' experience in financial markets and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Within Rathbones, Andrew sits on the Stock Selection Committee for Rathbones Investment Management, and the Broker Selection Committee. He has a specialist interest in oil exploration and production stocks, and mining companies.
Andrew Waddell

Glasgow Andrew.Waddell@rathbones.comAndrew is an investment director and has a broad and growing client base. Honours graduate in Political Studies from Aberdeen University, Andrew is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Chiene & Tait in Edinburgh. After qualifying as a CA, he joined Edinburgh Fund Managers (now part of Standard Life Aberdeen), working as a fund manager within the group's UK small companies team and then its enlarged UK department.
Andrew joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 1999. He is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of the UK. Formally a director of Speirs & Jeffrey, he was responsible for the oversight of the firm’s research department. He is a governor of The Glasgow Academy and acts as trustee for a number of external organisations. Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.
Andrew Zazzi

Liverpool Andrew.Zazzi@rathbones.comAndrew is an investment director with the Rathbone’s charities team based at our Liverpool office. He has extensive knowledge and experience of helping private individuals, charities and not for profit organisations to achieve their long term financial objectives throughout a career spanning 20 years working within the investment management industry.
Andrew began his career after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies, joining Gerrard Investment Management Ltd in 2002 where he qualified as an investment manager. He subsequently became a charity investment advisor with Barclays Wealth at their Birmingham office before joining Rathbones in 2019.
Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has held their full CISI Diploma since 2003.
Andy Webb

Newcastle Andy.Webb@rathbones.comAndy joined Rathbones from Brewin Dolphin where he was a divisional director in the Newcastle Office.
Andy is a Fellow of CISI with 27 years experience in the financial service sector having previously worked for Barclays Bank before joining Brewin Dolphin in 1996.
Over the last 20 years, Andy has amassed a wide range of experience in dealing with the fast pace and changing face of investment markets, his knowledge has enabled him to provide an invaluable steer and insight for all of his clients through several market cycles.
At Rathbones Andy is continuing to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, companies, pension funds and charities.
Angela Smith

Glasgow Angela.Smith@rathbones.comAngela has over twenty-five years of investment experience . She joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2014 and arrived at Rathbones in July 2019 following the integration of S&J. Angela started her investment career working as an investment manager for both Greig Middleton and Smith & Williamson.
Angela manages a wide range of private client portfolios including pension and offshore bond investments. In addition she invests for a number of institutional portfolios including trusts and charities.
Angela is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Angus Kerr

Glasgow Angus.Kerr@rathbones.comAngus joined Rathbones Investment Management as Regional Director for the Glasgow office in May 2015 and became Head of Scotland, at Rathbones, in June 2021. Angus has over 25 years’ experience in the wealth management sector, attending to the needs of individuals, trusts, charities, and pension schemes.
Angus is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments. In satisfying his clients financial requirements he draws drawing upon his extensive private client investment management experience having worked exclusively in this specialist area for Greig Middleton, Murray Johnstone, Aberdeen Asset management and Brewin Dolphin. He is involved personally in several charitable and personal trusts and believes that exceptional client service develops long and lasting relationships.
Angus is married with 3 daughters and enjoys being their taxi service, walking his dog, Pepper, and every now and then hitting a golf ball.

London Anique.Greyling@rathbones.comAnique joined Rathbone Greenbank in May 2016, having started her career with Stonehage Fleming in London in 2014. She has a BSc (Hons) in Business Science from Cape Town University and a masters in Finance and Management from St Andrews University.
Anique is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Ann Watchorn
Client service executive
London Ann.Watchorn@rathbones.comAnn joined Rathbones in 2007 and works as a client service executive for Robert Hughes-Penney. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in the finance industry. Prior to joining Rathbones, Ann worked for a firm of accountants/football agents specialising in professional footballers where she was responsible for managing their personal administration.
She has a certificate in Investment Administration level 3 from the Securities & Investment Institute (2009), and obtained a BA (Hons) in Humanities with Classical Studies from the Open University in 2015.
Anna Frost
Trust manager
London Anna.Frost@rathbones.comAnna is a trust manager in the London office, advising high net worth families on all aspects of trust and estate matters. Anna joined Rathbones in 2007 as a trust accountant and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2010 before becoming a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2015. Anna’s experience of accounting and tax compliance gives her a sound understanding of all aspects of trust and estate administration which her clients value.
Anna Miu
Assistant investment manager
London anna.miu@rathbones.comAnna joined Rathbones in September 2020 as part of the graduate entry programme. She is an assistant investment manager supporting James Cooke with discretionary portfolio management, investment selection and client relationships. The team specialises in looking after large family structures, complex private clients, pension schemes and trusts.
Anna and the team aim to provide comfort to their clients through building strong relationships and conscientious wealth management.
She graduated from the University of Bristol in August 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is a Chartered Member of the Charted Institute of Securities and Investment having achieved the Investment Advice Diploma. Anna is currently studying towards the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) where she has passed CFA Level 1 in August 2022.
Archie Pearson
ESG & Stewardship Analyst – Voting Lead
London Archie.Pearson@rathbones.comArchie joined Rathbones in 2018 as a voting & governance analyst. He supports Matt Crossman, on the stewardship team, ensuring informed proxy voting and corporate engagement activities as part of Rathbones’ stewardship policies, and helping to promote the integration of ESG within the investment process.
Prior to Rathbones, Archie worked for Oikocredit in their UK & Ireland office. During his time there, he worked as a client executive, tasked with generating capital from individuals and institutions.
Archie graduated in 2015 from the University of Edinburgh with a masters in Theology.
