James joined the Saunderson House graduate trainee program in 2015, after graduating from Lancaster University with a first class degree in Biomedicine. He achieved Chartered status in 2020, and is now a Chartered Financial Planner and part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of Saunderson House in October 2021. James’ clients include entrepreneurs, current and former Partners of the Big 4 accountancy firms and the Magic Circle law firms.  James enjoys working closely with his clients, helping them to achieve financial independence, with strategic and investment planning advice. In his spare time, James enjoys gardening, walking his retired racing greyhound, and renovating his cottage.

I provide bespoke financial advice to clients which ranges from the accumulation of wealth, utilising savings in retirement and wealth preservation across generations. The financial planning process creates an appropriate strategy to achieve client goals by listening closely to their objectives and aspirations. This involves analysing client circumstances in detail to build a holistic understanding before advising on a bespoke financial plan to achieve desired objectives. I advise on a broad range of areas including investment strategies, retirement planning, tax mitigation and inheritance tax planning. I work closely with the various in-house specialist teams to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Jenna joined Rathbones in 2019 and has over 12 years’ experience in the industry. She is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Having previously worked within technical research, Jenna has a deep understanding for highly complex financial planning matters. She is passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals, by carefully constructing a plan to address their unique personal and financial circumstances. Jenna works with clients on a holistic basis, helping to plan for their future through; wealth accumulation, tax planning and mitigation, retirement planning and, estate and inheritance tax planning. Jenna also has a keen interest in helping divorcee clients, using detailed long-term cashflow analysis to provide greater visibility over wealth.
