Rathbones hires new head of charities in Scotland

<p>Rathbone Investment Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Fiona Gillespie as the new head of charities for Scotland.</p>
<p>Fiona joins Rathbones with over 25 years’ experience within investment management, most recently at Anderson Strathern Asset Management and Aberdeen Asset Management, where she was the principal manager for a number of charities and foundations.</p>
Rathbones Winchester reaches £2bn in funds under management

<p>Local investment management firm, Rathbones in Winchester, has grown the value of funds under management to £2 billion*, doubling in size in the last six years.</p>
<p>The team’s focus on strengthening partnerships with independent financial advisers (IFAs) and the successful expansion of its Vision Independent Financial Planning business, were key drivers for this impressive progress. </p>
Funds under management and administration reach record £49.2 billion

Rathbones’ Investment Director becomes Master of the Guild of Investment Managers

<p>Investment Director at Rathbone Investment Management, Robert Hughes-Penney, has today become the Master of the Guild of Investment Managers.</p>
<p>Robert Hughes-Penney, Deputy Head of Rathbones London, is a founding member of the Guild of Investment Managers, which was established in 2015.</p>
<p>The Guild was created to bring together like-minded individuals from across the City of London’s investment management industry as well as to promote the importance of the sector within London.</p>
Raymond Antrobus wins 2019 Rathbones Folio Prize

<p>The 33-year old spoken-word poet Raymond Antrobus has been named the winner of the £30,000 Rathbones Folio Prize, for his debut collection, ‘The Perseverance’. It is the first time the prize – which rewards the best work of literature of the year, regardless of form – has been awarded to a poet.</p>
