Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

<p>After achieving a successful period of considerable growth, the board of Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) announces that Philip Howell will retire as Chief Executive Officer and from the board by the 2019 Annual General Meeting on 9<sup>th</sup> May 2019. The Board has appointed Paul Stockton as his successor, subject to regulatory approval. Paul has been Group Finance Director of Rathbones for nearly a decade and was appointed Managing Director of Rathbone Investment Management in May of this year.</p>

Appointment of Group Finance Director

<p>Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) today announces that Jennifer Mathias has been appointed Group Finance Director, subject to regulatory approval. Jennifer will join Rathbones on 1 April 2019 and will also be appointed as an Executive Director to the Rathbones board and a member of the Group Executive Committee. This role will sit alongside the roles of the CEO and Managing Director of Rathbone Investment Management, increasing the total number of Executive Directors on the board from two to three.</p>
Head of collectives research named in list of rising stars

<p>Rathbones is pleased to announce that Alex Moore, head of collectives research, has been recognised as a rising star in the industry by landing a spot in PAM’s 2019 Top 40 under 40.</p>
<p>Moore joined Rathbones in May 2015 as a collectives research analyst and was promoted to head of collectives research in July 2018. Prior to joining, he worked for the British Steel Pension Fund and Dimensional Fund Advisors, specialising in Asia-Pacific and emerging markets equity portfolio management.</p>
Rathbones completes acquisition of Speirs & Jeffrey

<p>Rathbones Group Plc (“Rathbones”) today announces that following receipt of regulatory approval, it has completed the acquisition of Speirs & Jeffrey (“S&J”), Scotland’s largest independent wealth manager with funds under management of £6.7bn and a team of around 150 people, including 38 investment professionals.</p>
Underlying profit before tax up 11.5% to £48.3 million
